Sneak Peek at Justine Dee’s Foolish Pride

So as some of you may have heard when I’ve been jumping around being uber excited about it. I have my second short story being published. HerStory: Fiction Honoring Women’s History Month, is an anthology as you can tell, for Women’s History Month, which is March, which is when the book will be coming out. It will be out in e-book and print by Pagan Writers Press. The women from Pagan Writers Press have been wonderful and being part of this has already taught me a lot more about the process. Especially the editing process.

My story is called “Foolish Pride” (you might have already picked up on that), and the little blurb about it that was posted up previously is:

Aelwyn is the illegitimate daughter of Owain Glyndwr, the Prince of Wales. She has gladly taken up the fight of her people against the oppression of the English under King Henry IV and strongly believes that being the fairer sex has no bearing on being able to do so. But will her pride lead her into trouble or to the respect of the men in her life who would prefer she remain safely at home.

So there was a point to this post…

As of today there is a sneak peek of my short story up on the HerStory blog and I would love for you all to pop over there and check it out.

I am really excited about this and I hope when the book is released you grab yourself a copy and enjoy the tales that have been collected together. The release date we are aiming for is March 8th and do not fret the moment it is out I will let you all know. You’ll probably be able to hear the excited screams across the globe.
