To Share A Book Title

I know I’ve been a bit quiet about the book this last week but that is because I have been working hard on it. After thinking I was almost done, a final read through revealed that no, I was not done and I knew just how to make the second episode of City of the Wiccad even more amazing. The joys of editing.

But I am so pleased with the final result.

Episode 2 finds us returning to the heroine of An All Hallows’ Haunting, and a favourite character of mine, Catherine Belvedere. Which might explain the title of City of the Wiccad: Episode 2. I present our new title…

But do not fear, if you are hanging out to find out more about what happened after City of the Wiccad – Episode 1: Beginnings. For though My Fair Catherine brings in new players to the Tales of the Wiccad, you will get a teaser of Episode 3 when we shall return in earnest to Gabby, Maggie, the wonderful women of Maggie’s Home, and our dear Detective Inspector. And I promise you will not be disappointed.

Yesterday we had a title and now we get a book cover. I’m pretty sure you might be able to work out just where the City of the Wiccad is located when you see the book cover.

Can I get a drumroll, please?

Over the rest of the week you’ll be able to learn more about City of the Wiccad and the wonderful characters you’ll be meeting within the tale.

 

Book Title Hangman aka A Title and a Giveaway

So, if you’ve been paying attention you know that I have a new book in the works. For those of you who downloaded and read ‘An All Hallows’ Haunting’, you have already had an introduction to the world of this new book. You will find yourself surrounded by Victorian England, Witches, a Succubus, Priests, Coppers, danger, intrigue and a splash of Steampunk.

It is the first episode of a new series of books and…..you want to know the name of it!

So as our (I say our because Jaidee insists as the narrator that this is a group effort), as our Book Title Reveal, we’re going to have a little game. Book Title Hangman only there will be no nooses in the revelation of these words.

Every RT of the game on Twitter, every share on here, Facebook or on Tumblr, and every like or heart of the game posts will get you an entry. Every correct guess of the book title will get you ten entries to win.*

And the prize? A hand-crafted Wiccad Within card made by yours truly and a selection of local New Zealand chocolates to enjoy while you are reading the book**.

An All Hallows’ Haunting

Catherine would do anything for her best friend, including travelling to Mina’s dying Uncle’s home. But Uncle Reginald is the least of her problems as the veil between the worlds thins for All Hallows’ Eve and the ghosts of the house come out in force.
Can the restless souls find heaven or hell, or will there be new souls haunting the house for next All Hallows’ Eve?

In case you missed it, or Facebook hid all my posts about it, I published a new Novelette for Halloween. A little Victorian haunted house style tale. It’s been incredibly well received so far and I can’t say how delighted I am by the feedback.
